One, like myself, would assume that if asked, "Would you like one orgasm or.... nine?" The answer would be an easy guess. The more, the yummier! But, I have known women that kind of finish with one, at least need a break. How about you? If multi-orgasms are a regular thing, with partner or masturbating, do you think it is a theshold you consciously cross that takes you there? Or...? Or...?.... what is it that gets a woman beyond the once-around-and-I'm-good thing. Men are so often stereo-typed as "Wham, Bam, roll over and snore", but I have wondered about the barrier some women seem to have to get beyond to really discover a deeper "climax". I think feeling safe and very familiar with their own orgasmic responses are large parts of it. lol.. I suddenly flashed on one of those.. "What ARE you doing to me???!" moments. Which is NOT to say that every sex encounter has to be a marathon or performance thing. It's more a matter of experiencing one's OWN sexuality at new levels and sharing it with an intimate.

There is only so much ginger ice cream that I want and can eat at any one time, and then you are full of ginger ice cream and ready for ... a cup of tea. So at any given time there is only a certain amount or a certain thing you want.
The folks I study with believe that you can enter into a state of orgasm and extend it indefinitely, to the point where its not clear how many (1? 101?) you have, so it gets easier to measure duration (20 minutes) rather than to count other things. -

(Not that I'm insatiable; if I get to come once or twice I'm usually good, but when the orgasms start coming in waves, they don't tend to stop so long as I'm getting stimulation.) And yeah, it's easier to measure my multiple orgasms in duration rather than number, even though there are discernable peaks and valleys.
My GF, on the other hand (so to speak), is a one orgasm girl. In that sense, she's very masculine - I always get to come first 'cause after her orgasm she's warm and cuddly and sound asleep. She finds my multiples fascinating, and loves to play with my ability to orgasm, but doesn't seem the least bit bothered by her own physical responses. Also like most guys, her orgasm is very seldom in question, whereas there are some night when, no matter how much I want it, orgasm just ain't happening. -

Sat, May 31, 2008 - 8:24 PMMy girlfriend is definitely multi orgasmic, and I love it. Like you, Lind, she gets rolling along in waves, and it never seems to stop. The amazing thing, though, is what she calls aftershocks. After it's all said and done, just laying around together, (or apart, as we live on opposite coasts for the time being) and without stimulation, physical or otherwise, she just comes again. Sometimes many times. Up to a half hour or so after we have quit with the sexual talk. I wish guys could do that. We might have to wear a diaper, but I still wish we could do that.
