Once upon a time I could cum like a freight train, and over and over and over... Now I'm on a med that makes it (almost?) impossible to orgasm. I still have my libido intact, but can't cum. Who else has had a similar problem, and how did you overcome it? Pretty please... ?

Re: Orgasm problems...
Sat, January 12, 2008 - 11:43 AMThe only time I've ever experienced anything like this is on MDMA (ecstasy).
It makes me feel very open, very aroused and sexual but the sexy bits just aren't interested in performing. This is true for many people I've talked to, male and female. In this case I think it's just the nature of the beast. For my partner and I, even though we're very turned on and desirous of sex there just isn't the right sort of blood flow to the genitals making it rather frustrating.
That's one of the plights of chemicals in the body.
Aside from this I'll share an experience that I find quite interesting.
Getting up in the morning (no pun intended) I like to have a green drink as I start my day. After about an hour or so I'll make breakfast. We have our own chickens so we have an abundance of organic free-range eggs. I'm not sure what it is in the mix but by the time I'm finished breakfast I'll be sitting there at the table with an eager erection.
Maybe it's something chemical in the green drink and the eggs. Or maybe I just really like breakfast. Either way I think it's a lot healthier than any of these performance drugs.

Re: Orgasm problems...
Tue, January 15, 2008 - 11:34 PMInteresting my doctor actually gave me a warning that my sex drive might drop while taking wellbutrin. I guess it depends on how you are reacting to other meds already and what cocktail of drugs it's getting mixed with. -

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 11:05 AMit must be different for everyone. I'm coming off Lexapro now which didn't give me that many side effects. But it was when I was on zoloft where it got soooooooooo effected. -

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 5:14 PMWellbutrin is one of the things I'm on, so I don't think that's gonna help me. Ah well. I have found that it's possible, just very challenging -

Re: Orgasm problems...
Wed, January 16, 2008 - 5:24 PMit will. don't get discouraged. I ended up involving more toys in bed and that sure helped. Also, masturbating on my own helped too.

Re: Orgasm problems...
Sun, January 20, 2008 - 5:38 PMtry takin small doses of DHEA, it is a, precurser to testosterone. Yes, women produce male hormones. You can buy DHEA at vitimen and health stores. Try breaking a 25 miligram tab in half. I would not buy the 50 miligram tabs. Se if that doesn't kick start the libido. -

Re: Orgasm problems...
Sun, January 20, 2008 - 9:26 PMTY Sparky, I'll look into that.
Problem is, my libido is in great shape (perhaps too good shape <wink>), it the orgasm that's the problem. I've found that I *can* cum, but it's one heck of a lot of work (*sigh*) so I usually just don't bother. Cannabis helps, but that's been about the only thing so far.
